The Hammock Works!!

See! Don't let my mom kid you, she is a closet fan of the "redneck" hammock... looks like shes enjoying herself to me.
I though using a golf club to push off of the railing to keep herself swinging was a nice touch.

Disneyland Trip

So here are a few pictures from before our fabulous weekend that I didn't get a chance to blog before. We all went to Taylor's favorite place... yep you all guessed it Disneyland!
Jaxon asked "Does this haircut make my face look fat?"

Waiting in line for one of the 2 rides I actually got to go on, Soaring Over California... Mom and Jaxon weren't too happy with the line and were being dorks.

Awww cute thats more like it!

A Special Moment

The other night me and Jaxon were watching tv, and this new show The Ex Wives Club came on. This one woman was telling her sob story about how she married the man of her dreams, and how everything was perfect until she got this disease and gained a ton of weight really fast and her husband left her because she got so fat...

I lean my head on Jaxon's shoulder look up at him and bat my eyes and ask, "If I got fat you would still love me, right?"

Jaxon looks down at me with a smile, kisses me on the forehead and lovingly says, "Sweetie you are fat, and I do still love you."

I had to ask.

Hammock?

When we moved in one of the first things we thought the place needed was a hammock on the balcony. So me and Jax decided to redneck up the place with the multi-colored El Salvador hammock. Here was the first attempt... yes he is sitting on the ground. I wasn't too satisfied with this being the end result so I made him tighten things up a bit.

Hmmmm... I'm thinking the tie downs we got at the swap meet weren't quite heavy duty enough.

He ripped right though them... they did claim to hold 400 pounds each... he used 2 so either hes over 800 pounds or the $1 tie down wasn't as strong as it claimed to be. He may be gaining sympathy weight but... that's ridiculous! Poor Jaxon.

Jaxon wasn't too happy about his first attempt failure.. can't you just see his cute little engineer wheels turning trying to come up with his next big idea... stay tuned!
