and then there were 4.

When I was first contracted to update the blog I wasn't sure I wanted the job. The comments from family in previous posts don't really reflect the aggression that is almost tangible in the repeated anonymous phone calls, and threats by mail to update the blog on a daily basis. You know who you are.

That in mind my goal is simply to keep posting pictures of the children until Cori starts blogging again.

One of the few moments with her eyes open.

Aunt Julia was a tremendous help the last week. We had a hard time letting her get back to taking care of Brett.

The hardest part was talking Aunt Julia into holding the baby.

Even though he has been amazing with Ali, in some ways I think Dax is having a hard time making the transition. If you look real close you can see the terror in his eyes as he realizes it just won't be the same anymore.

She's Here!

So around 11:00pm last night Cori wakes me up and says, "I feel sick". After a brief but persistant inquiry she mentions that she had been having contractions and they were getting worse........So off to the hospital. We get there at midnight, they get her situated, in goes the epidural, and out comes a baby - after ONE, yes that is (1) push. Sign some papers, a couple pictures and the whole thing is over in two hours.

Anyway, little Aleena Jane McCloy was born at 2:02am at 7 lb, 3 oz, and 20 inches long. (Dax was 21 in and one pound heavier).

More pictures to come............
