Good Times

Life with two kids is a challenge, but we are loving every minute of it :)
Taylor is here for Thanksgiving and it has been so great to see her. Ali likes her aunt Taylor too, can you tell??

While Taylor has been here she has been taking some pictures of the kids and doing mini photo shoots, here are just a few of the pictures she has taken.

Ali's First Time at Church

On Sunday we took Ali to church for the first time, and I had a little bit of fun dressing her up. She looked so cute and was such a good girl, we might just do it again next week :)

and then there were 4.

When I was first contracted to update the blog I wasn't sure I wanted the job. The comments from family in previous posts don't really reflect the aggression that is almost tangible in the repeated anonymous phone calls, and threats by mail to update the blog on a daily basis. You know who you are.

That in mind my goal is simply to keep posting pictures of the children until Cori starts blogging again.

One of the few moments with her eyes open.

Aunt Julia was a tremendous help the last week. We had a hard time letting her get back to taking care of Brett.

The hardest part was talking Aunt Julia into holding the baby.

Even though he has been amazing with Ali, in some ways I think Dax is having a hard time making the transition. If you look real close you can see the terror in his eyes as he realizes it just won't be the same anymore.

She's Here!

So around 11:00pm last night Cori wakes me up and says, "I feel sick". After a brief but persistant inquiry she mentions that she had been having contractions and they were getting worse........So off to the hospital. We get there at midnight, they get her situated, in goes the epidural, and out comes a baby - after ONE, yes that is (1) push. Sign some papers, a couple pictures and the whole thing is over in two hours.

Anyway, little Aleena Jane McCloy was born at 2:02am at 7 lb, 3 oz, and 20 inches long. (Dax was 21 in and one pound heavier).

More pictures to come............

Tay-Doo

As everyone knows our Taylor has decided to grow up and go away to college :( Here are a few things we are going to miss about her... What a good sport she was playing with Dax, she would lay there very patiently while Dax would pile things on her head in playing some sort of game that he only knew the rules to (those are golf clubs on top of the pillows on top of Taylor's head)She wouldn't even budge as then Dax would try to climb under with her, even if he had to knee, kick or pull hair to do so
She was great in the pool with him, when Mommy was too tired to walk laps in the pool Taylor would happily splash around with him as long as he wanted
In most cases aunt Taylor was way more fun than Mommy ever could be
Thank you Tay-Doo for all the runnin runnin you would do with Dax and all the time you watched him and played with him. He could never forget you (don't worry) and will be very excited next time we get to see you!
Also, Dax got a hair cut. Before... (rockin the Cori Claire's rats nest)

And... After!! I love it it is so cute on him, but it makes him look a lot older :( My baby is growing up too fast

Angels Game

Last Friday we got to go to Mormon Night at Angel's Stadium. It was so much fun!! I couldn't tell you much about the game... but it was fun none the less. Chris and Patti were able to come and go with us too, it was a great night :)
Our family
Hottie Taylor

Dax was so good at the game, my only complaint is that he took over my drink

I loved his little face in this picture

At least Dax watched some of the game

Dax was playing with Taylor in this one, she kept trying to take pictures of him and every time she went to take it he would dodge, so we got a lot of him moving and he thought he was so funny. He was laughing pretty hard in this one that we finally outsmarted him to get.

I think we have a baseball fan

We Are Back!!

Hello Bloggers!! I know you are all amazed I am blogging. We went through a time when we didn't have a camera or Internet, and I am happy to announce that we now have both! I would really love to say that I will be a blogging maniac now... but that has never really been my style I know... but I will be blogging a lot more now I promise :) We are all alive and doing really well, and only like 14 weeks until we get to meet baby girl McCloy so we are very excited about that :)

I thought in order to buy me a little bit of time to take some cute pictures I would post a few of my most recent favorites of my little guy so you can see how much he has grown. And to those of you that have seen Julia's blog of him in the heels, yes his Daddy loves that he can rock a pair of heels, haha.
