Being Pregnant

Ok guys I'm back. So, I haven't blogged in a while cause I have been dealing with all of the "joys" of pregnancy. Ok so I don't work very much, I work from 10-4 everyday... and all I do is sit at a desk and talk to people that come in and on the phones and so on, and I come home everyday just exhausted! I come home and crash, Jaxon even makes me dinner cause I don't have the energy. So I hate to say it but blogging hasn't exactly been first on my list of things to do... sorry. Don't get me wrong I am so happy and excited to be pregnant.. but it totally does change your daily life. This week has also been horrible with the nauseous feeling.. I didn't go to work yesterday cause I was feeling so horrible and was just bawling cause I felt so bad. Nothing ever sounds good to eat and I have to force myself to eat every few hours. When then when something finally does sound good, well it stops sounding good about half way through eating it and it makes me sick to look at it.. so Jaxon has been getting a lot of half eatin meals lately. Jaxon just laughs at me when I ask him if he wants the rest of something with just a disgusted look on my face, luckily he cleans up what I leave and then some. My stomach is so sensitive... I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and today I had to get maternity garments. The spandex ones that I wear aren't like too small.. but they apply just too much pressure that makes it worse... what woman is wearing maternity clothes after only 6 weeks!! That's just pathetic I'm afraid... but they are very nice. Up until this last week I wasn't really feeling sick at all, I was all whats the big deal... ummm yeah im a panzy and it sucks! Don;t even get me started on the smells that turn my stomach.. or how many times i have to get up to go to the bathroom each night... I know that all of you that have kids can feel my pain, and your probably laughing at me.. but I'm strugglin, haha. Anyways, I am so excited to be pregnant and I can't wait for the next steps. I will try to be better at keeping up with this too.. just work with me. Love you all!

My Weekend...

So we had a great weekend. We went to Bear Lake Friday night and stayed through Sunday morning at this way nice condo.. and the best part was it was free! The free part is very important for us poor college students. Jaxon's boss has a time share in this condo and lets us go and stay there all the time for nothin! My sweet husband set it all up and surprised me Friday by getting me out of Logan. We hot tubed and swam in the pool, and ate a bunch of junk and vegged out Friday night. Saturday we went snowboarding at Beaver and had a blast! I am not so good at snowboarding yet.. my main goal this trip was to not get taken out by the lift (yes that actually happened last time and they had to shut it down and help pick me up.. way embarrassing). I was fine getting on the lifts this time, but this time getting off was a struggle. The first run I totally ate it getting off the lift and tripped Jaxon and smacked my knee so hard I couldn't bend it for a little while, I was actually crying at the top of the mountain. The actual snowboarding down the mountain isn't the hard part... I think I only didn't fall getting off the lift once the whole day. I then smacked my knee again going down the mountain with my snowboard while I was trying to do a trick that I obviously had no business trying. I am still trying to figure out how I hit myself in the knee with the board that was strapped to my feet. So, now I have the biggest ugliest bruise on my knee, and it is way swollen. It hurts pretty bad, I cant touch it without practically screaming.. and Jaxon can't seem to remember that its hurt. It's actually a pretty rad lookin injury thingy, I kinda feel tough, or maybe I would if i hadn't cried at the top of the mountain. The snowboarding was awesome! The hot tub after was also awesome! I am still a bit sore everywhere, but 3 days later I can take my own shirt off without breaking a sweat and resting in the middle. Erin you and Ryan want to go next time? There is an extra big bed in the condo!?

It's Official

So today I became an official McCloy. The first time I met Jax we wen't to a gas station to get a big gulp.. at the time I didn't think to much about it, I thought he was just thirsty.. boy was that I naive. When you are a McCloy going to get a big gulp is an outing, an outing that is repeated nightly. When we first started hanging out apparently I only drank "clear liquids".. the day that I got a 1 liter bottle of Pepsi Jaxon says is the day he fell in love with me. Anyways, many of the McCloy's have worked in gas stations merely for the drinks. These gas stations became the hang-out for the other McCloy's to gather at. Jaxon's cousin and best friend Jaron worked at a gas station the year that we dated, and we were at that gas station for most of our courtship. The McCloy's are easy going and easy to please people. Being kinda a health nut myself never really drank to much soda. I have now discovered the sodas that I really do like and have a soda most nights. Well today while we were driving down to Kaysville for Jaxon's cousin's baptism i told Jaxon that I have discovered a gas station on my own that carried the rare drink that is my favorite (diet code red mountain dew).. he got teary eyed and said its official, you are a McCloy, you held out for awhile, and we weren't sure you would make it.. but you did it! I sit here now drinking my code red thinking how different the McCloys and the Harline's are, and how wonderful that I get both sides of living. The McCloys could tell you which gas station in pretty much any city they have spent any amount of time is has the best of any type of carbonated beverage. The Harline's could tell you which mall has the best of any type of store, shoes stores jewelry stores etc.. The McCloys know the prime camping and Jeepin' spots. The Harline's could tell you which nail place gives the best manis and pedis. How awesome is it that I now get the best of both worlds?!

My Turning Point

Ok this picture shows a major turning point in my life. Not only am i calm with Charley practically sitting on my.. but Derek's massive dog is right there too. I am so incredibly scared of dogs its almost funny (not to me, but to everyone else). The first night we got there Brett put Charley on my lap, and I seriously panicked, I started crying and like couldn't;t move. I was honestly surprised at how freaked out I was.. but it was bad. By the end I was loving Charley, Derek's dog may have been a different story if he hadn't been so afraid of little bully Charley. It was so funny Nolan was running as fast as he could to get away from Charley.. it was great. I haven't run into a dog since I have been home, but I'm thinking I may have just overcome my biggest fear.. thanks Charley!
