So we have finally made the final decision on where we are going to live. After many a
prayer and a Temple trip (for
Jax.. I was home throwing up) we know that we are supposed to be in California. We are super excited and a bit nervous... the catch is we
don't have a job lined up there yet. Cassie I know you feel me on this issue.
Jax has interviewed with a company there that we are
hopeful about... but they wont know for a little while if they need another engineer or not. We are confident that one of the companies
Jax has talked to will offer a job.. but we may not know until we are there and
that's a little scary. I am excited to be by my mom especially when I have the baby, I know I am going to need her a ton. So, we are going to stay with my mom and dad for a little bit until we can find a place that wont cost our first born to rent. I cant wait to put my maternity bathing suit to use!
Oh and to catch up on the pregnancy... the magic pills really help with the nausea... but they cause constipation... so I'm not sure whats better. Also, I had taken a couple weeks off work to get over the throwing up and the cold and to go to the doctors and to interview in California... everyone at work seemed
ok with it, and acted like no problem. Well, without a single word to me about it I got replaced. So I still
haven't talked to my boss, I found out cause I called in the day I was supposed to go back and the new guy answered the phone and my boss
wouldn't come to phone, nice huh. So, I get a month off before we move to pack everything up.
Before we moved to California I went with all the McCloy girls on a girls weekend to Park City. It was super fun, and two of us were pregnant during the weekend so they planned baby showers for two of the nights. I got a bunch of fun stuff and couldn't wait to show Jaxon when i gt home. Jaxon couldn't care less about all the baby stuff.. granted we didn't know we were having a boy yet, but still he couldn't be more unimpressed with baby stuff. He yawned through the tiny clothes and the baby seats and the blankets and all the rest until I got to the toys.. then he perked right up. He didn't even hesitate to open the box and start seeing what they could all do. It was so funny.. he sat there forever playing with this worm and figuring out how it works... hes never going to grow up.
Then cousin Jaron came over and asked how the baby shower was and the same thing... once the toys caught his eye he was no longer paying attention to the cute little outfits and stuff and goodies that I got. I don't know why I expected more out of these two.. but its really nice now to have some more girls around to ooh and aww over the baby stuff that I get.
